After a lot of trial and error, I discovered that only deleting the Retaliation Multiplayer DLC pack allows me to play the game. January I’ve been looking for a solution for this problem for the last day or 2 and I’ve tried clearing the cache, didn’t work. I’ve done the solution you guys posted up and it still didn’t work although I had to turn the auto-log and bug report off before going back in and turning it on again. I’ve gone as far as installing both discs to my xbox hard drive and still no luck.

September – last edited September I have the Xbox version and this just started happening to me about a week ago. But there are some claims of the third being fairly reliable. Maybe console-specific, or PS3-only. Disable auto sign-on to the console’s multiplayer network e. Or, just log off of the network before starting the game every time. If multiplayer functionality is desired, use the in-game menu to sign in to EA’s servers and this should automatically prompt you to sign into your console’s network also.
This has worked well for me. I suppose the PC analogue would be to turn off Wi-Fi or unplug the network cable. Enable auto sign-on to EA’s servers within the game. You may have to try options 1 or 3 first, to get into the game menu needed to tweak this option. This has also worked for me, and comes with the added benefit that you can re-enable your console’s auto sign-on function as well. Some users have reported good results with this.
Since options 1 and 2 are working fine for me, I haven’t personally tested it. If Origin is updating any of your games and you try and play ME3, you will get the Checking Downloadable Content endless loop. Pause any game updates and launch ME3, then you can resume your Origin downloads once you start the game actually start playing – ie, past the main menu.

Was able to import my Mass Effect 2 Character into the game and play for awhile. I took a short break from it. Turned my system back on started it up and it seems to start up fine but gets stuck.

I’ve only been able to play the Mass Effect 3 on my new system with backward compatibility twice. I still have a E model and it works perfectly fine on that one.
Please Microsoft, look into and fix this and other issues this game seems to have with the new Xbox system. Both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 work perfectly and smoothly with the backward compatibility. I’m sorry to hear about the issue with Mass Effect 3. If you haven’t yet, go ahead and try reinstalling the game. Your game save should be in the Cloud so reinstalling would not cause your progress to be lost.

Same probem after download of alt ending on XB Dispite reloading no joy. ONLY on my gamertag. To fix this, you can clear your xbox cache. Didn’t work for me. I had to pull the ethernet cable, restart the game, set the options to automatically sign in, and then reconnect the cable. Unsetting the automatic signin seems to have caused the problem for me. After you do this wait a little san installer free download for pc full version then turn your PS3 back on with the Disc still in the play station and click on the Mass Effect 3 disc icon and press start.

But, at the main menu, it would then hang with a message that says “Checking downloadable content”. The menu would still be animated, and the Loading icon would still be spinning. But I could let it sit forever like that and still not get a response. The only thing I could do is access the PlayStation menu and exit the game.
